Helping Christian Women in Ministry overcome spiritual stagnation so they can walk effectively in their calling is my jam. As I was doing this, I realized some specific needs--- especially for the women who have children in their lives!
This inspired me to go into vulnerable spaces with other moms and women who have kids in their sphere of influence and create *FREE content that will help them keep the balance, go deeper with God, and enjoy the journey.
Ministry Moms was birthed to share helpful hints for the heart, practical ideas for the home, and healing for the mind, body, and spirit. Oh! and of course some stellar educational resources for those awesome kids in your life!
I pray this site, membership portal, and content will help you find a grace-filled balance between everyday life, health, and ministry--- that you will find connection, creativity, healing, consistency + faith as you embark on the journey of joyful living.

Headaches come in many forms including tension, sinus, and those hard to manage migraines. Here is a quick tip to help with head pain.
Hydration is key
Staying hydrated with quality water can help brain fog, digestion, fight fatigue, ease pain and much more! It is extremely important to get enough water in order to live your best life! When we don’t hydrate, our bodies become dehydrated and daily bodily functions can become compromised.
How much water you drink really is unique to you, but some of the factors are size, physical activity, the climate you live in + more. It is important is to find what Katrina Sequenzia from @healthyfreelife calls— finding your hydration point. She suggests that this point is somewhere between 64 to 128 ounces and that most find a sweet spot between 80 to 100 ounces per day.
Of course follow your doctor’s orders if they have directed you otherwise.
The color of your urine can also be a good indicator to see if you are staying hydrated; it can be clear, pale, the color of lemonade and so on. Have you checked it lately? If you ever see the color of apple juice— drink more right away!
Personally, I find that if I don’t stay hydrated I am a lot more likely to get headaches! Maybe this is a factor for you as well if you too are a person who suffers from head pain?
Check out the following recommendations to help you increase your water intake and stay hydrated!
RECOMMENDATIONS
Drink 8-16 oz. water upon waking
Take baby steps to get to your hydration point
Track your water intake
Use glass or stainless steel glasses/bottles
Filter your water
DON’T DO THIS
Don’t use commercially bottled water if possible
Don’t drink zero-calorie, flavored waters that contain artificial sweeteners/flavors.
MAKE IT FUN
I don’t always like to drink plain water so if pure water is the best for hydrating, why not make it more fun? Here are some ideas to try—
Sparkling water add a drop of pure essential oil approved for internal use (don’t use oils in plastic water bottles) I recommend using doTerra Oils— see our store for more details.
Herbal or decaf tea, hot or iced
Add lime or lemon but limit these because it can cause teeth issues
Add cucumber slices and chia seeds
Add sliced frozen fruit (blueberries/strawberries)
Add mint or other fresh herbs
Add a small bit of pure juice *I like cranberry

In order to truly understand God’s TRUTH, we must know Him. And like all relationships, it takes showing up (being present), giving of ourselves, and being willing to understand that we do not have all the answers— it takes being a true friend to Jesus!
If we peel back the layers of our goals, we can see the small (consistent) habits laying just beneath. They help us close the gap (build the bridge) to courageously reach the other side where these goals are waiting to be accomplished successfully.
Worship is a valuable treasure to God that we may never fully understand, but we can always know that it will bring continuous joy to His heart, let us feel His power and love, and bring peace and JOY to us even when it feels like there is none.
