Today I had the opportunity of visiting a local school. Most of the pupils at the school are orphans and I felt led to share some things with them. Earlier when I was talking with the deputy headmistress on the phone, she had mentioned that these kids often lack basic necessities. So, when I visited the school, I provided them with packets of porridge mix and sugar.
I also took the opportunity to share some encouraging words, reminding them of their worth and potential. I told them that they are not alone for we have our Father who lives in heaven, and He keeps watching over us (Psalm 68:5).
I also told them that through the love of God, they are able to overcome every obstacle in life (Romans 8:38).
Seeing their smiles and hearing their gratitude was truly heartwarming.
The Word of God tells us that pure religion involves caring for orphans and that He desires little children to come to Him (James 1:27; Matthew 19:14). It is my joy to reach out to these precious children in Jesus’ Name.
Let us keep them in our prayers.
Please pray for their…
· Protection
· Good Health
· Provision
· Teachers to continue to love them
· Scripture Union Club to continue at the school
Please also pray for me to continue to stand strong and have the fear of God that brings wisdom and knowledge to these students.
Thank you.
Sincerely in Christ,
Joel
