A Vision for the Future

When we heard what God had put on this young woman's heart, we prayed over funding and decided to help her with some of the education costs. We asked her to tell us more about her plan and vision after completing her courses so that we could share it here on the Live Grounded blog.

God is going to do great things through this young woman! Many will be helped by her resolve to help those who have been through hardship and trauma. Thank you, Nelly, for listening to Holy Spirit and moving towards the plans He has for you!

My plan and vision for the future is to help the community through emotional, physical, and spiritual counselling. In today’s generation people are emotionally damaged so in as much as we lead them to Jesus Christ, we must also consider their emotions and mental health because at times people can be born again and still be emotionally broken. My vision is to counsel and lead people to Jesus Christ as well as help them heal from the abuse, trauma, and discrimination they suffered.

The course that I am doing will help in many ways.

BENEFITS OF THE COURSE:
1: Offer emotional and spiritual counselling.
2: Give assurance and support that in everything God is there for them.
3: Educate them on how to feel loved by God.
4: Offer confidentiality services

My course will help the community at large and more specifically those people who are in hard-to-reach areas who can’t afford a psychologist. With the course I will volunteer to counsel the Abused, Discriminated and Traumatized. This will also help in expanding the kingdom of God.
